Achiltibuie

If you have a car with you, it makes a wonderful road trip to go on the road north from Ullapool and turn west on the road to Achiltibuie. Then have a look and a swim if you want at the nearby beach and continue with great care [no kidding] on the very minor road to Lochinver. Then return to Ullapool by the main road.

It is scarcely possible to exaggerate the fabulous mountain and coastal scenery on this trip.
