Ullapool Travel Guide

Ullapool is a charming seaside town on the nothwest coast between Poolewe and Lochinver. It doesn't have a beach but is scenically situated on Loch Broom. It has more choice for eating, drinking and sleeping including the newly opened Riverview <<www.riverviewullapool.co.uk>>B&B, than any other town within many miles and ferries to Stornoway go from here as well as boat trips to the fabulous Summer Islands and shorter ones to Bird Island. There is also the excellent Ullapool Museum and Lochbroom Leisure with swimming pool and tennis courts.

There isn't a road in the area which does not lead to some sort of scenic splendour and it is an excellent centre for a Scottish holiday.
