Situated in the heart of Aberdeenshire Turriff is well placed to suit the farming communities.  Famous for her Agricultural Show which held its 141st show in 2005.  Nearby Delgatie Castle (seat of the Hay family) with her unique painted ceilings is well worth a visit.  There are several great houses within 20 minutes driving distance and to the south there is Fyvie castle and to the north there are the coastal towns of Banff, home of Duff House, Macduff, Gardenstown and Portsoy.
