Stonehaven Travel Guide

Stonehaven once a small fishing village is now a rapidly expanding town thanks to the oila nd gas industry of the North Sea.  Being only 15 miles south of Aberdeen Europe's oil capital it has benefited greatly from the wealth of the oil industry.  Now famous all over the world for it's fireballs ceremony held annually at Hogmanay, which was originally held to ward off the devil and evil spirits.
