Puffin sea cruises
Edit ThisPuffin heading out to sea 24-7-06

Take a 2 or 3 hour trip on the Puffin, berthed in Macduff harbour and sailing most days at 10.00am and 2.00pm. West to Findlater castle and back, east to Pennan and the gannet colony at Troup Head, if you're lucky you may see a dolphin or a minke whale. You are guaranteed to see many seabirds including gannets, puffins, and guillemots. A trip on the Puffin is worth every penny!

Storm Watch
Edit ThisStorm at Macduff - Waves
Becuase Macduff is situated on the North coast of Scotland now and again the town experiences rough weather from the north, these northern winds can produce some spectacular views of large waves crashing on the shore. 'Storm watch' is what some call it. Macduff has its own micro-climate which is usually warmer and sunnier than farther south but occassionally a storm occurs which produces these large waves which are enjoyed by the local surfers.
