North Sea Yacht Race (Previously known as the 'Banff to Stavanger yacht race' an annual event which has been held for the past 24 years.  Start-line alternates between Stavanger and Macduff.  Fastest crossing to date is 30 hours, usually quayside events are held in Macduff while the yachts are in the harbour.
