A great wee town at the top of Loch Fyne. Not as pretty as Inverary, which is further along the loch and where according to local tradition the Duke of Argyll (whose family has a castle there) insists everyone paints their houses white, but lots of characters and great shops.  And quite a few pubs, of which The Comm is probably the best (but under new ownership so we shall see). There's a putting green on the front looking over the loch and a play area. West Coast Motors buses stop right in town.  Two petrol stations either side of town and a big Co-op for shopping.
