Renfrew, (pronounced Rinn Friù) Scotland is located 6 miles west of Glasgow and  4 miles from the Glasgow International Airport.  This is a popular, out-of-the-way place to stay when visiting Glasgow. 

The Glynhill Hotel and Leisure Club

The Glynhill Hotel and Leisure Club is 1 mile from the airport and 7 miles from the center of Glasgow. It is located at 169 Paisley and has 145 rooms, banquet  facilities and a lovely leisure club. The Hotel prides itself on personal service that only a family run hotel can offer and patrons love to be welcomed back year after year. Glynhill offers an up scale restaurant called Le Gourmet, a bistro called Palm Court Carverie, The Cocktail Bar and Harry’s Bar. You can choose from a cooked or continental breakfast that can be served from your room and all rooms include color TV, WiFi, telephone, hairdryer, hot beverage tray, fresh fruit, iron and ironing boards. Family rooms are an option and children are welcome. Prices for rooms run about £94.00 for a standard room to £120.00 for a family room Monday through Thursday and slightly higher on weekends. The Normandy Hotel

The Normandy Hotel is located at Inchinnan Road  close to the airport,v15 minutes from Glasgow, and a few miles from Loch Lomond. There are 141 rooms and prices start at £45.00. All rooms have been recently remodeled and have remote control color TV, telephones with modem link, hot beverage tray, iron and ironing board, and hairdryer. Inside the hotel is Steaks and Soups, a steakhouse boasing delicious 16 or 24 ounce Porterhouses. The shuttle to the airport runs 24/7. This hotel allows pets and has rooms for disabled guests. There is a game room in the facility and a golf course is within walking distance. This hotel accepts all major credit cards and reviews are generally positive. 

The Travelodge Glasgow Braehead

The Travelodge Glasgow Braehead on 150 Kings Inch Road is a good place to stay if you are on a budget.  It is located 4 miles from Glascow International Airport.  This hotel has early check in and late check out service for a price. Rooms run about £29.00 per night and they include king sized beds, remote control color TV, hot beverages, and WiFi (charge applies). One can borrow hairdryers, iron and ironing board from reception. The hotel has a Bar Café but it only serves an all you can eat breakfast. This is a no smoking hotel. All major credit cards are accepted.   Reviews on this hotel are both favorable and unfavorable – You get what you pay for.
