Day Trips
Edit ThisFrom Fraserburgh you can head south to the city of Aberdeen which is approximately a 45 minute drive, plenty shops and things to do there.
Heading west along the coastal route you can take in the scenic coastline with beautiful cliffs and wonderful fishing villages such as Crovie and Pennan. Troup Head is a fantastic spot and in the summer is packed with breeding seabirds such as the gannet, puffin and gullimot.
Head inland to the south west and follow the trail of the Picts, there are 99 stone circles in Grampian and many pictish symbol stones scattered around the countryside.
Also within an hours drive are castles such as Fyvie, Huntly, Tolquhon, Haddo House and Duff House all open to the public. There is also many ruined castles such as Dundarg, Inverallochy and Fedderate there to explore.
