Sompting Travel Guide

The village of Sompting in West Sussex is close to some quite large towns and yet is less known than one feature ensures that it deserves. This is the Saxon tower of its church, an example unique in England of the 'Rhenish Style.' This is probably the closest that Saxon architects could get to a spire.
