Romford Travel Guide
Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and seeIs one of the oldest Market towns in England. The market here dates back to 1247 and offers a wide range of merchandise. There is a large shopping area (which is constantly under improvement), cinema, ice rink, various restaurants, clubs, pubs and cafes. Romford also has a train link to Liverpool street and a good bus network.
The outskirts of Romford are also worth a visit. There is the smaller area of Collier Row which comes under the Romford umbrella. Here you can experience the more rural nature of the area with farmland and parks nearby. This area also offers some local pubs and cafes, ten pin bowling and a small shopping high street.
In Hornchurch you can visit the theatre or the lovely grounds of the registry office. Hornchurch also offers a small shopping centre and in the summer some lovely outdoor dining in the local pubs and restauraunts.
