Situated on the A59 between Skipton and Preston, Clitheroe is a very pleasant Lancashire town with a castle, at least one interesting shop and a cattle market. A good car boot sale is held weekly in the cattle market area.

It is a good place to stay if you want to explore the Pendle area.
