A reasonable size town in SE Essex that offers a few attractions for the tourist. A Dutch Cottage (Thattched roof  dwelling that used to be at the toll gate to enter town in past times), Church, Castle Mount & a windmill.

The town has changed in size over the last 15 years from 37,000 to 52,000 as more houseing estates are built and people move into the area.
