If you are planning to travel between Exeter and Plymoth, you are spoilt for choice in selecting a route but the very best might be the B3212 via Mortonhampstead and Princetown.

Mortonhampstead's main fature is its 15th century almshouses but you will enjoy its narrow streets too. However the best feature is probably the spectacular drive itself with stone circles visible almost everywhere on the nort side.
