Many private apartment owners in Ukraine, as well as companies that rent apartments on per day basis, will require a one-day deposit to be paid well in advance, as a guarantee that the apartment is waiting for you and is not rented to anyone else. Majority of owners will prefer to receive the whole sum of payment for your stay on the first day upon your arrival. They may accept both - local currency (Ghryvnya), or dollars, or Euros. Do not forget to request the owner's phone number at the moment of signing into the apartment, and to ask about all the services you want to receive, at the moment of signing in. For example, cleaning, laundry, cooking your breakfast or any other services may not be included into the cost of stay, so you need to discuss this at once. A so-called two-room apartment would have literary two rooms - a living room and a bedroom. The living room will usually have a coach which can be used for sleeping, and there will be bed linen available for both rooms.
