Montreux does have one interesting museum, this museum shows the history of Montreux. The old Gothic church, dating from the 12th century, is worth a visit as well. Besides that, the surroundings lend themselves perfectly for a walk along the lake or gazing at the Alpine range in the summer sun. A must is a visit to the Château de Chillon, a historic masterpiece.
