In Interlaken sights range from spectacular natural scenery to
interesting museums. Interlaken is a great destination for adventure
seekers. There is a variety of accommodation options including those for

Hoheweg
Hoheweg is the major street in Interlaken. The street is lined with shops and cafes. Howeg stretches over 35 acres. At either end of the street is a train station making the street easily assessable. This is a good area to buy souvenirs and gifts. Along the street are some remarkable buildings such as the Victoria Jungfrau Hotel which was built 150 years ago. From Hohematte you can enjoy breath taking views of Jungfrau mountain. There are often horse drawn cabs transporting people down the streets, which adds to the charm of the area.

This museum documents the development of tourism in Interlaken. Exhibits cover the previous 2 centuries. Opening times are in the afternoons from Tuesday until Sunday. The museum is only open from May until October. There is a small admission fee, with discounts for children.
Kursal
Kursal is a popular casino in Interlaken. The casino is located in the Hoheweg area and offers a fun way to spend the day. A note worthy feature of this casino is its flower clock.
Unterseen
This little town is located by Interlaken West Station. You can walk to the town from Interlaken by crossing a bridge over the Aare River. In the town there are bakeries and a variety of shops. The town was founded in 1280. Another attraction in the town is a church. The church tower has a Gothic design and was built in 1471.
Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn
Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn is located 25 km from Interlaken. It is a World Heritage Site. The area is 82,388 ha. The magnificent mountains are home to Europe's biggest glacier. This region has been the focus of art, literature and tourism. Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschorn is unspoiled and the only intrusion on the landscape are trails and a few mountain huts. While most of the area consists of glaciers and rocks there is a variety of flora and fauna and forest, meadows and scrubs. The altitude ranges from 900 meters to 4,274 meters.
