In central Trollhättan there are a number of shops, mostly clothing and more lightweight items. However access by car is limited due to traffic regulations in the city centre.
Most of the hardware and electroncis stores have established themselves at Överby shopping centre North-east of the city. The centre offers a large number of shops for all tastes.
