During the Waterfall days (Fallens dagar) the sluice gates at the hydroelectric power plant are open and the spectators can get an impression of the falls in their former glory.

Every year the 3rd weekend in May the cruising is held.
What is then a cruising?
It is sort of a "parade" with old cars, mostly american. The cruising was in earlier days closely watched by the police.
This because the youngsters taking part ("raggare") were considered dangerous to the public, moral, girls etc.
Now the cruising has turned into more of a family event with a number of well preserved vintage cars.

The water fall's days. The third weekend in July. Apart from the water falls there are artist performances and beer tents etc. More information is given by the tourist office.
