Tanum is a community in the province Bohuslän on the northern part of the Swedish west coast. It is well known for its numerous Bronze age rock carvings, depicting humans, animals, boats and other objects. These unique carvings, found on rocks scattered in the landscape have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
