Nybro is a small city of about 16,000.  It is located in the heart of the "Kingdom of Crystal" in southern Sweden and is a short drive from the Kalmar airport.  There are several good restaurants and a few hotels in town with more services at the nearby glassworks in Orrefors, Kosta Boda and Maleras.
Train service to Copenhagen and Stockholm is available from the local station and the trains are always on time.
