Kramfors Travel GuideEdit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and see
In 1947 Gudmundrå parish in the province Ångermanland became the town Kramfors. It is situated close to Ångermanälven , Sweden ’s biggest river, and has about 6 000 inhabitants. The economy was based on saw mills and paper mills but most of these were closed down in the 1970s and since then many people have been forced to move. Most people today work with service or administration. Kramfors is a convenient base for excursions to the High Coast or along Ångermanälven.
