Gretas is located at Drottninggatan 35 in Gothenburg. Walk down Drottninggatan from the entrance (across Östra Hamngatan) of the department store NK. If you take the tram, get off at the stop called "Kungsportsplatsen" or "Brunnsparken".

Sometimes that's just what you want.

It can get pretty full, and on Fridays and Saturdays there's a cover charge at the door for the live music upstairs. (Free entry before 9pm).

Operan

The Opera House is one of the prides of Gothenburg. Opened in 1994, it is one of the most modern opera houses in the world. It hosts concerts, operas, operettes and ballets, and has 1250 seats. Even if you don't want to see a performance, it's worth to take a look at the spectacular building.
