I recently accompanied my husband on a business trip to Barcelona. Several of the other wives split off from the planned spouse activities the first day and booked their own private shopping tour with a personal guide. They had such a great time with their guide that they booked her again the next day for a Mediterranean Gourmet Tour, and I got to tag along. The conference always plans nice tours for spouses, but they don’t hold a candle to the personal experience we got from Megan. This was a wonderful way to get in touch with the city and local cuisine. Megan took us to the open air markets and introduced us to flavors unique to the region, but best of all was seeing this city from the perspective of a young American who loves Barcelona. P.S.
