Salou Attractions range from natural attractions such as beaches to theme parks. Beaches

Salou has a warm Mediterranean climate which makes it the ideal place to go on a beach holiday. The beaches are clean and many of the beaches have been awarded blue flag status. Beaches include Platja de Ponent, Platja dels Capellans, Platja Llarga and Cala Crancs. The white sand stretches for miles and along the beach are hidden coves to explore.

Salou Promenade

Salou Promenade stretches alongside Llevant beach. It is a good place to enjoy an evening stroll and get some fresh air while taking in the scenery. Walking along the promenade you will pass some interesting monuments and landmarks. Gardens and parks add to the beauty of the area.

PortAventura

This is a well know theme park that was formerly a Universal Studios Theme Park. There is a variety of rides at this theme park including the Furius Baco which is Europe's fastest roller coaster.Other rides include The Hurricane and Dradon Khan. In the evening during the end of June until the end of August there are breathtaking performances with fireworks, parades and floats called fiestaventura.

PortAventura Aquatic Park

The water park is part of the PortAventura resort and is situated right next to the PortAventura park the park is for fun and relaxing individuals.

Sports

There is a variety of water sports available. Golf enthusiasts can choose between the three courses at the Lime golf club on the outskirts of the resort town of Salou. There are also facilities for tennis, squash, para sailing and hiking.

Aquopolis Water Park

The Aquoplis Waterpark is in the neighbour resort of La Pineda approx 5km away and it is a well visited attraction perfect for a family outing.

Karting Salou

Karting Salou is situated on the outskirts of Salou the attractions include go-kart racing, bungee rocket, simulators and the facilities include a bar and a recreation room.

House of Illusion

House of Illusion provides a good nighttime outing for the whole family. The magicians do tricks at people's tables and then there is a warm-up act before the final spectacular magic show. There is a bar with wine and beer at this establishment and a friendly staff.
