Beaches in Salou

This Salou beaches guide will help you decide where to enjoy the surf and sand.
Ponent Beach
This beach is very popular with locals. It offers crystalline water, soft golden sand and a gentle slope, making it perfect for children. It is bordered by the Miramar Promenade, has a first aid station and several sand and water sports are offered. Parking is available and the local bus line has a stop here.
Llevant Beach
This is the largest beach in Salou. It is bordered by the Jaume I promenade and offers several services and amenities. For the perfect picnic, its esplanade is fully landscaped with gardens and fountains and offers breathtaking views. There is a first aid station, a parking area for bikes and 1 for cars and the public bus stops here as well. For a fee, you can rent equipment for windsurfing, seadoo, sailboat and canoeing.
Capellans Beach
Capellans beach is bordered by natural cliffs and boasts warm golden sand and a gentle slope. It is bordered by a promenade and offers few amenities. There is no parking facility but the local bus has a stop here. This beach offers more privacy as it is mostly used by locals.
Cala Llenguadets Cove
This cove can only be reached by foot from the Cami de Ronda path or from Torrassa Street, but there is a bus stop close by. There is no first aid station and no amenities are present. It boasts a beautiful view, golden sand and transparent water.
Llarga Beach
This beach is very long and narrow and is fringed with pine trees, offering the perfect shaded spot for picnics. It is not as close to the tourist resorts so it is quieter than the other beaches. There is a first aid station and there are some amenities.
Cala Penya Tallada Cove
This is a very small cove that can only be reached from Penya Tallada Street. There are no amenities.
Cala Font Cove
Cala Font cove is another smaller beach located along the rocky area of the coast. This beach is perfect for snorkeling as the water is crystal clear and calm. There is no dedicated parking but there is a local bus stop.
Cala Vinya Cove
Also known as Cala Pinetell, it offers crystal clear water and a breathtaking view. There is no dedicated parking but there is a local bus stop.
Cala Cranks Cove
This small crescent shaped cove is located at the east end of the city. It is bordered by vegetation covered rocks, giving it privacy. It is popular with the residents and there is a local bus stop nearby. The golden sand gently slopes into the Mediterranean and the water is calm and clear.
