A big part of most every vacation is some kind of shopping trip. In Platja d’Aro, Shopping can be quite the adventure because of how many shops you will find located along the major streets. The shops are going to range in size and merchandise, but no matter how many shops you go into you will find the shopping in Platja d’Aro to be a pleasurable experience.

Av. De S’Agaro

In this major shopping area of Platja d’Aro, you will find pretty much anything that you are looking for. This main shopping area has a children’s area, but they also have clothing stores, jewelry stores, toy stores, and much more. If you happen to work up an appetite while strolling around this open-aired shopping area you can also stop in to one of the many cafes or restaurants for a quick bite to eat.

Main Street

Similar to the Av. De S’Agaro you can walk up and down the main streets of Platja d’Aro to find numerous shops and boutiques. One thing that you might notice while shopping on the Main Street is that there are numerous handbag shops that sell a wide variety of handbags, including designer handbags. Many tourists find some great deals on handbags, so if you need a new handbag be sure to be on the lookout while shopping.

Boardwalk

All along the beach you will find numerous stores and shops, but the beach area is not considered a main street. The beach area covers almost all of Platja d’Aro, but the different areas offer different types of shops because of the type of crowd that it attracts. Be sure to check out as much of the boardwalk as you can, you never know what you will find in those quaint little shops.

Ceramic Stores

If you are looking for some of the most beautiful ceramics that are made by local artists, you will need to visit the local ceramics shops. In Platja d’Aro, you will find 2 ceramic shops; one is located along the Av. De S’Agaro and is called Ceramiques Anna. The second one is located on one of the other main streets of Platja d’Aro and is called Ceramiques Mayolas.

Souvenir Shops

When going on vacation the 1 thing that you want to find is the perfect souvenir to take home. Finding the perfect souvenir is important while on vacation because it will serve as a reminder of your vacation. To find the perfect souvenir you will need to visit as many souvenir shops as you can, which in Platja d’Aro they are located throughout the city. Some of the more popular souvenir shops that you can visit are Palau Del Souvenir and Bazar Maya.
