Travel Safe scratchcard scam warning.

When I visited Alcudia in September 2007, reps representing a new internet Tour Operator were on the streets with scratchcards. Many people 'won' cash, camcorder or free holidays and were asked to accompany the rep to the very impressive local office to see a presentation on the new tour operator. It isn't. Its a 'holiday club' scam. Many people have been conned out of amounts up to £13000 for subscriptions and up to £600 for deposits, the balance to be paid in a few days. People have been unable to cancel agreements and so far nobody has got their money back. Do not be taken in by these people!
