Arenal is a glorious resort in which to spend your holidays. However, there is no direct bus service from Arenal to Palma Airport (you have to change buses in Palma), so it would not be a bad idea to call a taxi for when you arrive in the first instance, and when you go home at the end of your holiday. In any event the buses can become extremely crowded, and so it would probably be rather difficult to take all your luggage on the bus in any event, and so, again, calling a taxi would also be recommended in this instance.
