The island’s contemporary art museum organizes several exhibitions a year, consisting of both local contemporary artists and international acclaimed ones. The museum hosts a biennial international art exhibition that has been taking place since 1963. Situated in the old town, this museum is a great cultural break from the sun and hot weather.

Casca Antiguo de Dalt Vila

This UNESCO World Heritage Site displays Phoenician, Roman, Moorish and medieval remains throughout its narrow and winding streets. A walled town teeming with historical buildings, this is the site of the Ibiza Cathedral, the first parish of Santa Maria started in the 1200s. There is an Archaeological Museum several churches and a castle to explore, making for a great day trip of adventure.
