The second city of the islands lacks the charm of Ibiza Town. What you have left is a stretch of beach with lots of appartment buildings and hotels lining it. "A highly avoidable package-resort nightmare" is one of the less friendly reviews the town gets. On the other hand it can be a good and cheap basis for a holiday on Ibiza. You don't have to be lodged in Ibiza Town to go there.
