Museums in Teruel

Edit This

Teruel's Provincial museum does not enjoy sufficient attention in the guidebooks. It's of quite outstanding quality and its exhibits from the Iberian age [6th to 4th centruries BCE] are particularly striking.

The renaissance building is excellent and it formed the first seat of the Council. There are five floors of exhibits and above that an arcaded level, where the guide will take you, certainly if you have shown any interest in photography. Looking out at hte Mudejar towers between the arches is quite something.

Very warmly recommended.
