Bohinj Chalet - a Traditional Slovenian Chalet

Bohinj Chalet is set in the heart of the Slovenian Julian Alps in Triglav National Park. Nestled on the shores of magnificant Lake Bohinj it is only an hour drive from Ljubuljana international airport. Sleeping a maximum of 8 people, it offers an authentic alpine holiday surrounded by spectacular scenery in the tranquility of a national park. Bohinj Chalet is surrounded by stunning scenery in the tranquility of a National Park and is perfect for an alpine holiday. Fully central heated it also offers the traditional Slovenian log burner to make those winter evenings in the mountains extra cosy. It has two double bedrooms downstairs (sleeping 4) and one large bedroom upstairs (which also sleeps 4). There is a bathroom with a shower downstairs with an additional WC upstairs. The chalet provides a spectacular location to explore the region in either summer or winter. In summer there is an excellent range of walks (suiting all abilities) along forest and mountain trails direct from your doorstep. These give spectacular views of Lake Bohinj and the Julian Alps. In winter there are a multitude of cross-country ski trails and downhill ski slopes nearby. We are only five minutes walk from the Vogel Ski Centre and this means that you can always beat the crowd with the minimum of effort! Vogel offers 26 km of slopes and with runs up to 1800 m altitude, skiing can last until early May.
