Sights

Raska region today bares the name of medieval Serbia state, Raska, which formed the core of the succeeding Serbian Kingdom and Empire that flourished between 12-14th centuries. Beautiful Dinaric Alps, mythical history, several complexes of UNESCO- protected monasteries and churches and the ruins of a thousand year old capital make this part of Serbia, despite its current economic problems, one of the focalpoints of the expanding tourism in Serbia.
