The development of a tourism industry has spawned over 60 Ekaterinburg hotels throughout the city. With the industry still growing, the number is expected to hit 90 hotels by 2015 with amenities split between business class hotels aimed at business tourists, middle class hotels with budget prices, older style hotels that are now run more like hostels  and mini hotels with are situated in other building that generally feature a few floors of apartment-like rooms.

Best Value Accommodations

Ekaterina Hotel is a small hotel featuring only 8 rooms, but a great value at just $72 a night. The hotel is quaint with excellent services and is near a major city street so it remains quiet in the area. There is a restaurant in the hotel that features home style cooking and atmosphere.

Hotel Oktyabrskaya is located near Dendrological Park and close to nighttime entertainment, theater and shopping. This hotel features all the amenities of a modern hotel and with rooms starting at just $88 a night, it is great value.

Mid-Priced Accommodations

Iset Hotel is located in the heart of the city and is a nice hotel for a relaxing stay. A very modern and equipped hotel suitable for business or leisure travel, starting at $122 a night this is a nice mid-range choice.

Antey Hotel is one of the newer hotels in the city and located on the 19th Floor of a business and entertainment center near the Opera House. The setting of the hotel makes it great for business travelers to combine work and rest, but can also be a nice accommodation for leisure travelers as well. The building’s restaurant features European cuisine and there is also a casino, strip club and billiards area and bowling lanes in the entertainment center. Rooms here start at $113 a night.

Luxury Accommodations

As the city’s only 5-star hotel, the Atrium Palace is the most modern hotel in the Urals region. Close to the main government offices and entertainment facilities, the hotel offers a complete range of hotel and business services. It features a great menu with European as well as Russian cuisine. With rooms starting at $233 a night this is a great place to stay if you want top-notch amenities and service.

The smaller Hotel Magister is also in the heart of the city and features only 22 rooms. Lodging comes with a buffet breakfast and the hotel has a nice restaurant that serves European cuisine. This is a popular hotel among celebrities that come to town and has rates starting at $187 a night.
