Kaliningrad is a popular seaport, and there are several Kaliningrad Hotels available for accommodation. This area was once part of Prussia, and borders Lithuania and Poland. This town is a draw for tourists as it contains many museums, theatres, pre-war buildings and monuments.

Remote Hotels

One of the most highly recommended hotels is the Heliopark Kaiserhof, located on Oktyabrskaya Street. This is in a nice area, as there are not many buildings here. It is within walking distance from many of the main attractions in the town. The interior is very polished and modern, and the hotel offers wireless internet and an excellent breakfast. A room costs between $170-$400 USD per night.

City Center Hotels 

Hotel Kaliningrad is a two-story hotel that is centrally located on Leninsky Prospekt. The prices are good for what you get. Just outside the hotel is a good restaurant and bar. This hotel overlooks Kant Island. All the décor is modern Russian, and each room has a TV and a Wi-Fi connection. The two restaurants offer European, Russian and Japanese food. A room runs from $65 USD a night for an economy room to $100 USD a night for a double studio.

The Moskva Hotel is by the zoo, with plenty of public transportation and shopping nearby. This hotel is just outside the city center, and has a great view of Kant Island from its rooms. At the solarium you can get a massage. In addition to its main restaurant, the Moskva Hotel also has a pizzeria and a café. The price per night is about $85 USD.

Nearby Hotels

The Paraiso hotel is on Turgenev Street, about 3 km from the city center. This is near the main airport. There are three floors to the hotel, which has a front desk that is open 24 hours. You can enjoy the swimming pool, bar, restaurant and lounge areas. The parking is free, and there is room service available. This hotel has a minimum stay requirement of 5 nights.

The Hotel Villa Glamour is a bit bizarre, but a good hotel. It is about 3.2 miles from the city center, and on the inside has the feel of a brothel, although it definitely isn’t. While many of the staff cannot speak much English, they are very friendly. This hotel is better suited for a short break, not for business travel. A room will cost a little over $100 USD per night.
