Bistrita Travel Guide

Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and see
If you happen to follow Dracula’s route through Romania (or trace at least the places that are mentioned in the novel), Bistrita is a place not to be missed. This is the area that Bram Stoker chose as the setting of Dracula’s castle. The capital of the Northern Bistrita-Nãsãud County has several well preserved medieval buildings, an Orthodox church dating from the 13th century and a county Museum. (And don’t trust anyone that keeps staring at your throat and asks you to give blood for the good cause.)
