Moorish Tour

We start our visit in Cerro da Villa. It was in Vilamoura than the romans were the first to live in Vilamoura. Later we find other people like the Visigoth and Moorish colonies. These people had left important cultural features wich we can today testify in Cerro da Villa (as the ruins of noble hoses). Then we go to Albufeira. It was a fishermen town, today we can find fishermen but Albufeira is the tourism Kingdom of the Algarve. The next village is Paderne. We will visit its' castle. This castle is represented in the Portuguese flag and it was conquered from the moors. We finish our tour in the most Portuguese village -Alte. Characterizeby by narrow streets, this village has one of the most beautiful chapel with 16th century tiles.
