Over 250 km of trails are available for hiking and mountain biking. Bikes can be rented from the town, so you don’t need to carry extra luggage. Short day trips can take you to numerous interesting locations, like the Niedzica Gothic Renaissance castle, for example. If you manage to visit Zakopane in August, you will have the chance to attend the International Highland Folklore festival, which attracts tourists from around the world.
