Cultural/Folk/Regional Festival—International Highland Folk Festival

Usually held during August, this is among the most widely-celebrated folk festivals in Poland. The festival was held in 1969. The festival aims to invite highlander communities across Europe and Asia to a common forum. Celebrations include discussions about various customs and dance forms. The most sough-after event is the ‘Coachman of the Year’ contest. Most of the celebrations are hosted along the streets of Kosciuszki and Krupowki.
