Zakopane Hotels have a very large range in both amenities offered as well as the price per night. You can literally get a hotel for about thirty dollars per night, or you can opt for one that is nearly two hundred dollars per night. The difference in quality and comfort is definitely there; however, it has to do with location as well.

Like in most cities, The City Center attracts a premium. In Zakopane, that happens to be Krupowki Street.  The interesting thing is that there are four hotels on this street alone. Two are three-star hotels, and prices start at around forty-five dollars per night. One of them is a five-star hotel with rates starting around ninety-five dollars per night.  The fourth hotel is, interestingly, a three-star hotel, but has rates almost approaching those of five-star hotels. Giewont and Gomada  Grazda, both three-star hotels, are not bad places to stay for the budget traveler, and happen to be right on the most happening street in Zakopane. The five-star hotel, Litwor, is everything you would expect a five-star hotel to be, and the Sabala, which is the high-priced three-star hotel, has its own charms.

The National Park is about one kilometer from The City Center, but Zakopane is not a big town, so you are not really sacrificing a lot by choosing this location. You are right next to The National Park, and you have a bevy of two- and three-star hotels to choose from. The quietness of the Tatra National Park will definitely be a contrast to the hustle and bustle of The City Center. But that is good in its own way. When you get exhausted after partying on Krupowki Street, you might need a quite place to recover. Again, there is a hotel for every budget--from Belvedere, which is a four-star hotel with prices starting at 113 dollars, all the way down to Dwor Korolwka, which starts at thirty-nine dollars per night and is a three-star hotel.

This is for people who want to do a lot of skiing and enjoy the quiet mountain and valleys outside Zakopane. If you are a budget skier, you just cannot beat these prices. From the fifteen-room Paryzanka, which starts at twenty-four dollars per night, to the two-star Halit at thirty dollars per night, to Willa Aspen Colorado at fifty-seven dollars per night, it is unlikely that you will find too many hotels in the real Aspen at that price.

You can be in Zakopane both for the mountain snow sports as well as the party life. The good thing is, you can do both and fit it into any budget, especially if you choose your accommodation wisely.
