Tours and Excursions in Krakow
Edit ThisKrakow (or Cracow in English) is a magnificent city rich in history and cultural events. When you've had enough of the city though, you can head to a lot of various sightseeing spots outside of Krakow like a mysterious national park in Ojcow or the heart of the Polish mountains,a town of Zakopane, where a picturesque mountain chain stretches from the West to the East, not to mention Dunajec where you go for river rafting. Apart from all those the Auschwitz-Birkenau museum is definitely a place to visit due to the darkest of the dark time in history that happened there. The salt mine which is just off Krakow is listed by the UNESCO as the heritage of the world. Although places like Zakopane or Ojcow are for real globe treckers, the Auschwitz-Birkenau museum and the Salt Mine are a must-see for, literally, everyone. All the above spots you can go to with Cracow City Tours company www.cracowcitytours.pl

Wieliczka Salt Mine
Edit ThisOnly about 15 km East of Krakow you'll find historic underground chambers, shafts and caverns decorated with sculptures and carvings. It's the only site in the world where mining has continued since the Middle Ages.
