Salt Mine in Bochnia
Edit ThisBecause the world is covered mostly by sea, many salt deposits have been left over time. As a result, there are more than one salt mine in the world. Some exist in Poland. One of the few Polish mines that are open to tourists is Bochnia. Like Wieliczka, the town of Bochnia also has an underground mine. Although farther and smaller, this mine in Bochnia is said to be older than Wieliczka, and is worth a trip for those interested in salt mines. Like other mines, Bochnia has a health center, fitness center, and other attractions.
