The University of Stavanger is Norways 5th university, opened January 1st 2005 by the minister of education, Dagfinn Høybråten.
Located just 10 minutes by bus from the city centre and offering studies in hotel management, oil-engineering, television- and radio studies and much more this is a important part of Stavanger.
