Konsberg a nice town in the south of Norway, known for its reputation for producing some of Norways finest engineers, home to FMC and Volvo Aero. Sillver mining was once one of Konsberg's main industries and today it is celebrated in the museum along with skiing, rocks, silver and the mint.
If you are travelling during the winter season, you should definately check out "Kongsberg Skisenter". This ski resort boasts 6 slopes, 300+ elevation and one of the best snowboard parks in Norway. If cross country skiing is your preferance, Kongsberg Skisenter offers 30km of prepped forest tracks.
