Taxi

Finding a taxi in Kirkenes may not be very easy, but if you’re able to get one, it would get you from one place to the next in pretty good time, considering the town is small.  You can find a taxi when you are in the town center, and you can also call the taxi service to schedule a pick-up time. However, if you are coming to town from the airport, taking a taxi to town would be a good idea for the 13 kilometer ride.

Having your own rental car is another great form of Kirkenes transportation. You do not need a special license to rent a car in the city.
