If you go there in the winter, make sure you take plenty clothes and don't forget a hat and gloves.  When I was there it was 17th January and there was very strong winds, I had my bare hands exposed for about 30 seconds to take some photos and my fingers were stinging like mad!  (Stan Bruce 17th January 2006)
