International Easter Motor Races

One of the annual events held in Zandvoort’s racing circuit is this event. It usually occurs in the middle of May of each year. For several years now, Zandvoort has been hosting this event. Therefore, one of the best times to visit Zandvoort is during the month of May in order to see a car racing spectacle. Apart from this annual event, there are also other races that take place on the race track here; however, there is no definite date to these races. Sometimes drivers just race around the track to test drive their cars or practice before a race.

Race Track

The circuit has been a major attention grabber amongst race car drivers and enthusiasts alike because of its fantastic sweeping corners. The track also has the Tarzan corner with a hairpin bend to the track and is actually the most renowned bend in the Zandvoort race track. Another corner is the camber that gives race car drivers the opportunity to overtake the one in front of them either by passing the inside or the outside lane. This corner is one place that is mostly watched by supporters because of the likely event of their favorite driver overtaking an opponent.
