Museums

The Casteelse Poort Museum: The Casteelse Poort Museum was built on top of the Wageningen Castle ruins. One of the museum’s main attractions are the archeological findings during an on-site dig, where a part of the original castle’s foundation was unearthed. Visitors can see it on display and learn about Wageningen history here. Outside the museum, visitors can see a section of wall that has been preserved, as well as a watch tower.
