Wagenborg Ferries offers a ferry service to Schiermonnikoog harbour. The crossing takes approximately 45 minutes.

Bus transfer Leeuwarden <> Lauwersoog

Get a direct bus transfer from Leeuwarden Railway station bus terminal: Arriva bus 50 to Lauwersoog harbour (ferry connection guaranteed). There is also an alternative departure from Groningen bus terminal: Arriva bus 63 (ferry connection also guaranteed).

*Tip*: At the bus terminal ticket office (not IN the bus!), buy a combined return-ticket for bus AND ferry. This way your transfer from Schiermonnikoog ferry-terminal to the village and back is quick and easy.

Train transfer Amsterdam <> Leeuwarden
